BUILT BY ATHLETES,
FOR EVERYONE.
It started with a simple problem: there was no outdoor fitness equipment good enough for serious training. In 2012, Stephan Heese — a certified sports and fitness professional and passionate calisthenics athlete — founded GhettoWorkout e.V. in Dessau, Germany.
What began as a local alternative to expensive gyms quickly grew into a movement. Hundreds of members joined. The club hosted three consecutive German Calisthenics Championships. And when Stephan surveyed calisthenics communities across Germany about what they actually needed, BARbara was born.
Today, Workoutparks engineers and manufactures outdoor fitness systems that combine athletic expertise with German engineering standards. Every bar has a purpose. Every measurement is tested. And every park is built to bring people together.

Fitness knows no age limit. One of our oldest athletes at a park in Dessau.
